A Central African Seminary in French-speaking Africa
The Bangui Evangelical School of Theology (B.E.S.T.) was founded by the Association of Evangelicals in Africa in 1973 and was chartered by the government of Central African Republic in 1974. B.E.S.T. received its first students in the fall of 1977.
B.E.S.T. was created primarily to meet the leadership needs of the growing evangelical churches in French-speaking Africa. For over 30 years B.E.S.T. has been a source of blessing for African churches with 600 graduates in all 17 French-speaking countries.
Dr. Jack Robinson and his wife, Theo, travel to BEST once or twice annually to teach, to consult with administration, and to encourage students, faculty and staff. They have been doing this since their formal retirement in 2003.
