As Director of Finance and Operations, my desire is to make other ministries effective, through oversight of the ministry and administrative support and custodial staff, finances, IT, Web and by handling other business related issues. I enjoy solving problems, finding better ways to accomplish work, and helping others.

Interesting facts about my family or me
I am married to Andrew and we have three daughters, one in college, and two who are graduating high school in 2012. I also have a stepson, a grandson, and another grandchild on the way.

Some of my favorite TV shows and music
I love reading all kinds of books. Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Cormac McCarthy are two of my favorite fiction writers. I enjoy Christian writers such as Beth Moore, Andy Stanley, Chapman, and others.

How I like to spend my free time
When the Celtics or Dallas Cowboys are playing, I am in front of the TV. Yes, I am a Cowboys fan even through the tough years.
When the warmer weather comes around, I enjoy keeping up with the lawn work and gardening, a love inherited from my mother.

Favorite vacation spot
When we can coordinate everyone’s schedules, we like to visit family in Texas, either Fort Worth or El Paso (not both in one trip)! We also love when we can spend a long weekend in New York City enjoying the hustle and bustle, walking through Central Park, and maybe seeing a show.

What I enjoy about Faith Community Church
I am a walking example of the church’s stated mission; this church has provided me many opportunities to deepen my relationship with Jesus Christ and develop a greater love for others. I have found a home in the church, opportunities to learn the Bible, ways to be more disciplined in my spiritual practices, and meet and fellowship with wonderful people. I love this church!

One of my favorite “God-Moments”
When Cherie Coughlin knocked on my door in our neighborhood and invited me to an outreach event, which led to joining a Bible Study, which led to attending and eventually joining Faith Community Church. Praise God for Cherie! And for His patience with me.
