I'm new to FCCH.  Are there any opportunities for me?  First Serve opportunities allow you to "try out" a ministry opportunity to see if it is a good fit or not.  They are listed as FS in the Ministry Opportunities Catalog.   It contains over 250 ways to serve.

What are the greatest needs?  You can check our Got 60? These are ways to serve if you have only 60 minutes to spare.  In addition, we have our current Opportunities to Serve list which changes weekly.

What about the Response Card? Your bulletin has a Response Card in it each Sunday. On the back of the Response Card is an area marked Find a Place to Serve.  Just check it and hand the card back at the end of the serviSpiritualGiftAssessment_Logo.gifce.  You will be contacted within the week.

Is there someone I can talk to? Stop by the Small Group/S.E.R.V.E. Counter located in the lobby across from Fellowship Hall.  The friendly Ministry Partners there will be glad to answer any questions you may have.  You can pick up a copy of all of the different ministry opportunity lists mentioned above there also.

How can I find out what my spiritual gifts are?  We offer a mini online Spiritual Gifts Assessment which takes about ten minutes to complete. You will immediately be sent the results.  Our Director of Equipping Ministry can also be sent your results and will provide you with a list of possible ministry opportunities that match your spiritual gift/s.

  • What is SHAPE and how can I learn more about it?

Believers are encouraged to discover their SHAPE in order to match up with a ministry opportunity where they will grow as a disciple
of Jesus Christ.  SHAPE stands for Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences.  We have designed a class that will help your discover your unique SHAPE for ministry.  Sign up for the next class by clicking on the Designed to S.E.R.V.E. sign.  If you feel like you need addtional individualized help or have more questions please
    contact kim@fcch.org.
