Outreach at First Congregational Church of Hopkinton is any evangelistic endeavor outside our local congregation to fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, making disciples and gathering these disciples into local congregations, while relating to the needs of the total person (spiritual, physical, emotional and social.

Outreach Covenant Statement

Because of our commitment to the importance and urgency of obeying God’s command to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people of the world, we covenant together to strive to educate and motivate all of God’s people at FCCH to understand and fulfill their part in this task. We also covenant to prayerfully care for those we have sent out as missionaries, realizing that we are an integral part of their ministries. Recognizing the sacred nature of the gifts of God’s people, we covenant to make prayerful and wise decisions about where mission funds will be sent.

FCCH Supports Missionaries and Missions Agencies

• We currently support 27 missionaries in 13 different countries.
• We support 3 Mission Agencies who work in numerous countries throughout the world.
• We support the Hazara people of Afghanistan, our adopted unreached people group.
• We are a member of the Partner Team Consortium.

How You Can Support Our Missionaries and Outreach

• Through Prayer
• In Giving through the Church Outreach fund and individually
• Through letters, email, and packages
• Through visits or short term trips

The Outreach Team Seeks to Keep the Church Family Informed about our Missionaries/Mission Agencies Through:

• Annual Outreach Conference
• Missionary speakers for Sunday Services and Classes as well as other events throughout the year for all ages.
• Updates on what Missionaries are doing

Hazara – Our Adopted Unreached People Group

We provide on going prayer support, financial assistance, and look for ways to reach the Hazara’s with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
