Prayer Ministry

Prayer is vitally important to our personal relationship with God. The exciting thing is that we can approach Almighty God with confidence because His love for us is limitless (Ephesians 3:18) and He already knows our heart (1 Samuel 16:7) and what is on our mind (Psalm 139:2). There are many components (praise, confession, intercession, thanksgiving, waiting, etc.) and benefits (peace, guidance, strength, healing, etc.) to prayer.  Faith Community Church offers classes that explain in greater detail the discipline of prayer in one's life.

Prayer is woven into every aspect of ministry at Faith Community Church. We believe that actions fueled and guided by the Holy Spirit in accordance to God's will produce eternal blessings that strengthen and expand God's Kingdom thereby giving God glory. The opposite is soberly true as well. Deeds, actions, and plans guided by our own motives and done in our own strength are futile and can be counterproductive to God's work.

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.
Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing."
  John 15:5 (NLT)

"So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty."  Zechariah 4:6
