Hopkinton Christian Preschool Open House

We are excited to announce that the Hopkinton Christian Preschool is now enrolling for the 2013 – 2014 school year.

HCP offers a unique experience for children ages three to five as it combines a faith-based curriculum with a cognitively challenging program in a safe, creative and nurturing environment.

We have four large, bright classrooms, a full-sized gym, and a lovely outside play area all used to teach children language skills, reading, math, science, creative arts, and an awareness of God’s love.

Hopkinton Christian Preschool

At Hopkinton Christian Preschool, our goal is to nurture a life-long love for learning and for God in each child. Our Bible-based curriculum has a strong developmentally appropriate academic program that prepares children (ages three through five) for kindergarten and beyond. Because we believe that God created each child as a unique individual, we strive to address each child’s strengths and needs as we bolster readiness skills.

Through structured and free play, children engage in a variety of “center” activities: art, dramatic play, manipulatives, sensory, listening, discovery/science, block building, and music. We have use of four large beautifully furnished classrooms as well as a full-sized gymnasium (for big wheel riding and other gross motor activity), and a lovely outside play area for small group use. Additionally we meet as class groups (for “circle time”) to share presentation of the Bible verse and activities pertinent to the unit theme of each week. These activities are geared to promote not only cognitive, but also social-emotional and spiritual growth. The themes are presented through interactive music, story, and role -play.

HCP is licensed by the state of Massachusetts. All teachers are early childhood specialists and are certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All teachers have educational degrees appropriate for teaching at HCP preschool and are part of the Faith Community Church family.

Registration

Registration is now open for the 2013-2014 school year. Children who will be 3 years old by August 31, 2013, are eligible to enroll in the Tuesday/Thursday morning or afternoon sessions. Children who will be 4 years old by August 31, 2013, are eligible to enroll in the 5-day or 3-day sessions.

HCP is licensed by the EEC to serve 30 children, and classes are filled on a first come/first served basis.

We have a ratio of 1 Lead Teacher to every 8 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years. This low teacher-to-child ratio allows our teachers to develop close bonds with children and to closely observe and respond to each child’s interests, strengths, and challenges.

3-day program (MWF)	$3,100
5 day program (M-F afternoon)	$4,100
3-day extended day program, for 3-day students	$5,600
2-day extended day program, for 3-day students	$4,800
Young Explorer program (MWF pm)	$2,900

Children 3-4 yrs.

2-day program (T/Th)	$2,000
2-day extended day program, for 2-day students	$3,500

Lunch Buddies
Parents may arrange for children to stay from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for lunch and conversation. The fee for the Lunch Buddies program is $10 per day.
