Small Groups

We all need close friendships in the church to experience a sense of belonging and genuine support through life’s ups and downs.  Jesus Himself modeled “small group life” as He prayed, ministered, and spent time with His disciples. The Small Groups Team at Faith Community Church has a passion to connect every person into intentional relationships for belonging, caring, biblical accountability, and spiritual growth in Christ.  In these groups, we build friendships as we pray, learn to apply Biblical principles, and serve together. Some groups are tailored to meet the needs of a particular population such as singles, parents of young children, married couples, men, or women, while others are comprised of people from a variety of situations.

Small groups meet regularly, usually weekly or bi-weekly, at  homes throughout the area.  While the format may vary, each meeting generally includes a time of personal sharing, biblical study, discussion, and prayer.  In addition, small groups often perform acts of service in their local communities as another means of journeying together toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

New Opportunities

Book Club -
"Focus on giants—you stumble. Focus on God—your giants tumble."
Join Patti Stadolnik on March 6 at 7 PM in room 237 as she leads a discussion on Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado. Lucado has modern readers slaying their own giants (such as bills you can’t pay, people you can’t please, habits you can’t break, etc.) using principles gleaned from David's life. He goes beyond the storytelling to offer readers concrete actions to help slay their giants. His casual style appeals to the most reluctant readers, yet his spiritual depth will challenge and amaze.

Please register at the Small Group Book Club link at the right or at the Grow & Serve Center on Sunday mornings.
